WAYALIFE Rubicon Run 2013

How do you guys store your tops and doors?? I had to chance it with mine on.

Like Sharkey said we all rented a block of rooms at a hotel. There are a couple of places in S. Tahoe

We drove from Reno without them. Everyone else had hotel rooms.

??WTF?!! It didn't occur to me that you guys had come in with out the doors.

After watching them make those drinks, I wouldn't have those things anywhere near an open flame!

Pictures are uploading now. I think I have at least one of everyone running the little sluice, for those that ran it.

I will post them up when they finish uploading.

looks like an awesome trip!!!!

Looks like there were no major breakdowns....

Moochie, other than the idle issue is Smokey pretty much good to go now?

Turn Key just made some changes to the programming and I think the idling is better. I won't know for sure until I get it off road again.
It's going back to the exhaust shop on Monday to check for a rattle near the last cat. It sounds like a piece of loose welding slag is vibrating there.
I'm also working on adding some hood louvers to help with better air flow through the engine compartment.
Air conditioning needs some work still. This will happen on Monday also.

It's just about where it needs to be.

Glad to hear you are dialing in Smokey for Moab next year.

One of my fav things to do at Rubicon Springs is to take the plunge! This time I had a flock of geese and Sadie Jo, join in on the fun. It was so cool watching those geese get closer and closer eye level to the water.

Every other group we passed was shocked at the fact we had 22 (ish) rigs. But it worked out well.

Ok. I have to ask. You have 22 rigs. What do you do for a bathroom on the trail? It's pack it in, pack it out right?

Yes it is pack it in pack it out and everyone had wag bags but throughout the trail there are bathrooms (porta potty's) that can be used. This was before the trail head about an hour or so into the trip.

There are bathrooms along the way, but if you can't hold it you go in a wag bag. Yes if you use a wag bag you pack it out. 👍

Here we go.

Awesome shots!! :clap2: :thumb:

For number 1, you just find a tree or rock. For number 2, you need to use a WAG bag or, use one of the new toilets long the trail. There is one at the trail head, one at Ellis Creek, two at the Little Sluice, one at Buck Island Lake (or, last I saw) and then a bunch at Rubicon Springs.

EDIT: or what those guys said :D

Pretty cool that these are avail on the trail. I guess I was more concerned about my wife and daughter than myself when it came to privacy. Additionally I wanted to make sure I was prepared and didn't look like a newbe
