I posted my first post less than 24 hours ago, and already got a bit of light-hearted feedback on my posting habits, so here I am to say "hello." I am from Washington but am stationed with the Air Force up in Anchorage--it's a great place. I have been with the Air Force for 22 years and still like it just fine. I have a 1948 Willys which was in the Ultimate Adventure in 2013 (I didn't build it and it was in the Ultimate Adventure before it got to me...and it needs some TLC); I recently got a low-mileage, very stock 2017 JK Rubicon, and am working on putting together an M715 with a very good friend of mine. I plan to keep the Rubicon very stock for reliably exploring Alaska, but have enjoyed it thus far--my first "modern" Jeep/vehicle, ever.
I also have a 1969 FJ40 which I will never mention again.
I look forward to getting to know some of you good folks and hopefully contribute something of use.
