Hey everyone! I'm John, aka Deadlance. I'm new here and to the Jeep world... In fact, my Jeep hasn't even arrived yet... but I'm super excited to be a part of the world of 4x4.

A year ago, I bought a brand new Dodge Dart, which turns out, has a really sad transmission in it. I actually wanted to buy a Jeep back then, but ended up buying the Dart for the fuel economy. In the past 4 months, I've had the transmission replaced 5 times in the Dart, and Chrysler has finally decided to buy it back from me. I ordered a brand new 2015 Jeep 2dr Sport from the factory. I'm trying to be patient while I wait for it's arrival... hopefully in the next few weeks.

I've been watching Wayalife YouTube videos for the last few days and building anticipation for the arrival of my new JK. I can't wait to get outdoors and have some fun!

Welcome to the WAYALIFE and congrats on the new JK. You will love it. Just take it slow at first and do your research on which parts to buy so you are not spending money twice. Ask me how I know. Again welcome.

I'm not new to Wayalife, I've been secretly stalking the forums for years and have been a fan of the Youtube channel for even longer. I just haven't ever felt the need to chime in on anything and just felt like I should at least poke my head in and say hi.

This is my 2015 JK Wrangler. She's just a sport edition but I've been slowly doing mods.

Currently I'm sitting on a 2.5 inch lift that was gifted to me. It came from a JKU, so it's really a lot closer to 3.5 inches on my Jeep. I've got Teraflex Alpine Control arms, and the Teraflex HD tierod / trackbar / drag link and dual reservoir fox shocks. The tires are Cragar 15" wheels wrapped in 35" Mickey Thompson MTZ Bajas that were a trade for my stock wheels and rims. The guy was selling his jeep and wanted it stock so he offered to swap me... how was I gonna say no to that trade?

I'm currently saving up to replace the axles. My goal is Currie 60s but who knows what'll end up happening. I'm still on 3.21 gears in a Dana 30 front and 44 rear. Gears need to happen soon too. I just don't really wanna regear and then do the axle swap because I'd have to regear again. No lockers yet. I do have an ARB twin compressor and was recently gifted the smaller ARB locker compressor (it's not installed in the Jeep... but since it was given to me for free I figured I'd end up using it for lockers after I get my axles.)

I also do some fabrication and have made my own dashbar for my phone mount and other goodies.
