Home made beef jerky marinating. Goin to dehydrate later on.
I also have my brine cooling for my corned beef I'm making for st patty's day. Brines for 12 days.

Have you done the jerky before we just got some with our last cow 1/2 cow and it was harder than leather.

Yes I have and it's great. It's an Alton brown recipe. I use flank steak for it.


The brisket is corning for 10 days.

I was wondering what the hell they did to make it so hard. you have to snap a piece off its so hard.

It's dehydrated. It's dried with a heated fan, and it gets chewey when it's done. U can do it longer and it will get tougher. I like my jerky chewey!
 
Slow cooker BBQ pork tenderloin, cinnamon carrots and spiral cheesy pasta. Hey, u never outgrow the blue box, and my kids like it too. 😉

Tip: Reynolds slow cooker liners are the bomb. No hard cooked on sauce makes cleanup super easy!ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1362455132.624869.jpg

Kidding, but you shouldn't have to slowcook a tenderloin unless u needed to do it while you were not home...
