You don't have to be a snowbird to appreciate just how warm and wonderful the Arizona desert is during the month of December and it is for this reason that the Nitto decided to host their inaugural A2Z Overland Expo, out in the town of Bullhead. This weekend event was open to all off-road vehicles including Jeep Wranglers, Gladiators, Ford Broncos, Toyota pickup trucks and SUVs and even side-by-sides. And, while many chose to camp in tents, trailers and even RVs, right along the shores of the Colorado River, many also chose to stay in the myriad of hotel casinos just minutes away in Laughlin, NV. In this video, you get to see us exploring the Mojave desert on a fun filled poker run as well as some of the awesome prizes that were given away to participants. Of course, you'll also get to see the good times that were had by all as we partied the night away around a nice big campfire. We hope you enjoy and hope to see you next year.

As luck would have it, Cindy and I were able to make it out to Bullhead a day early and here are a few bonus pics that we took from the event.

Here's a shot of Moby soon after we arrived at the event site down by the Colorado River.

After everyone got done checking in on Friday, Cindy and I decided to lead a few forum members on a quick run out into the desert. Here's a shot from our first stop along the way.

Of course, most in our group decided to use the stop to air down their tires.

But, had they looked up at the canyon walls, they would have seen these petroglyphs pecked into them.

Our next stop on our quick trip was to the Nevada California state line to take a group photo next to an American Flag that flies there.

And finally, we made a stop over at a rock cool rock formation just as the sun was starting to set.

Last but not least, I saw this post on the Dirt Experience page and wanted to chime in on it and only because I was there when things went down. The guy a "digital creator" named Cameron Stone and he showed up in a Toyota Tacoma and made zero effort to hang out and get to know anyone.

First, yes, everyone got charged the same but there was supposed to be different areas for each group. Being that this was an inaugural event, there weren't as many people who showed up as there was room for and so, everyone was kind of all in the same area.

Second, I can't say that I saw any tweakers but who knows, it was a public park and anything is possible. As far as drunk Jeep guys go - I definitely resemble that remark and all I can say is that I had a hell of a good time. Hard not for me to think this guy was just jealous of all the fun we were having.

Third, I can't imagine how this guy could be upset about the poker run. I mean, it was a "poker run" - what more do you need to know about it? If you drew a same card, all you had to do is say as much and then you'd get to draw again.

Last but not least, this guy and is pissy girlfriend were the ONLY ones who didn't know that the raffle was about to start. I mean, there was a large gathering of people in front of the stage and calls were made out into the crowd to let everyone know it was going to start. Being that there were only about a dozen people who stuck around for it, the raffle went really fast and when this couple walked up, about 5 mins after it started and as everyone was walking away, all they could do is bitch about how they were "just a few minutes late". And yes, I heard this with my own ears and no, the fact that they were LATE is nobody's problem but theirs.

Anyway, I just wanted to set the record straight on this.

I’m sad to have missed all the fun and hope to be able to join if it happens next year!

You would think that people would have a little bit of understanding. It’s the first time it’s being run, hardly any event like this runs perfectly the first go around. From the way I understand it, it’s pretty common at these style events to keep your ears and eyes open for event times varying from the original plan. From my experiences in life no plan survives first contact with implementation.

Hey Eddie, great video as usual. We met you when you were checking in Thursday. We spent little time at the expo, mostly explored on our own, which is normal for us. We had a good time enjoying scenery that was a different world to us.

We didn't see any tweekers or drunks, will have to be more observant next time.;)

Just watched the video, great job really capturing the weekend. Lots of fun and pretty much perfect weather for December. Always enjoy getting to hang! 🍻

bummer I missed out arghh!

next time, phone stays muted, I've got fun things to do!

But what I did get in on was fun, thanks!

Bummer I had to miss out but I can’t wait to watch your video.
Sorry you weren't able to join in on the fun. Hope you enjoy the video :)

I'm quite sure it'll happen again and I do hope you'll be able to make it out.

Regarding people, clearly, most just suck. I was standing there when they lost their shit and I literally was beside myself. What they were most pissed about is that they had a raffle ticket that got called early on so they would have potentially won a set of JK ball joints and tail lights. Perfect for a Taco. 🙄
Watching the video now on the big screen. Looks like it was a great time!!
Drunk Jeep guys?

Dammit, now I’m really pissed off that I missed the event!! 😂🤣

Love the Ripley Cam, thanks!!!
LOL - happy to hear you had fun watching the video and seeing Ripley.

And yes, you should be pissed that you missed the event. I think you would have had a good time (y)

LOL - I remember meeting you and your wife. You guys came all the way from the gulf coast. I'm sorry that we didn't have a chance to talk more but glad to hear you had a good time enjoying the scenery out there.
Looks like a fun weekend.
Oh yeah, it's always a good time when you're out with good friends :)
Great video! Following coordinates was kind of fun and something different, well for me anyways. Thanks again for letting us join you guys and hope to be at the next.
Glad you enjoyed the change in leader thing. I think we might do that more in the future. It really did make it funner.

Looking forward to seeing you again soon (y)
