There isn’t an aftermarket stereo. I actually am thinking now the previous owner had an aftermarket stereo but then put back the factory one before trading it in for his new mustang he ended up getting.

It looks like a trailer brake controller. Does it click when you push it or if you turn it all the way left or right.

No click, just goes all the way Left and all the way right. You can’t push it matter fact it doesn’t go in. Yes I have a tow hitch.
