Thoughts on removing the plastic tailgate hinge covers

They come off very easily. Just take them off and see if you like it

I left mine off after I put my corner skins on & never really thought about it. Kinda goes along with the bumperless rear I guess. Leave em off for a while & see how you like it.

I'm pretty particular about those things myself and considered that. After an install i left them off. Doesn't look bad in my opinion, and like someone else said, it goes with the no bumper look.

I like the bare metal look. My bottom cover broke so it is have exposed now but i just have to find time to remove my hi lift jack mount from the hinges to remove broken cover and the top one.

If you don't have the lift mount then you can just remove the covers and see if you like it.
