There is hope for the younger generation

When my grandson Sebastian (we call him Bash) who is 3, took his Jeep for a drive last week in Alabama, his dad wanted to take a picture. Bash said “wait Jeeps should have dirt on them” and proceeded to spread some Alabama dirt on his “Jeep”. Then he got in and posed for the picture.
After trying to drive up a tree and almost doing a endo, good lesson learned there, he pushed it back and decided it needed some service. At least that’s what he said. I’m thinking he wanted to upgrade some parts. I wonder where he learned all that? The shot of him looking into the engine bay is hauntingly familiar.

I too had one of those power wheels Jeeps when I was kid. Still do. Last time I drove it was only 16 years ago or so.

His has a radio and can be remote controlled by the parent. He is already claiming my Jeep. When he saw the video of us playing in Moab last month he pointed at the screen and said “Bash’s Jeep”.
