You know, there's a reason why we bought a home in Boulder City and NOT Henderson or Las Vegas - because it's still a nice small town with tons of charm. Well, recently, Henderson decided to annex a big piece of land on our side of the mountain and sure enough, look who's moving in now...

I guess you just can't get away from this shit

This type of shit pisses me off to no end. It's such a helpless feeling when you just want some fucking peace.

It really is so frustrating. Boulder City is literally on the other side of a mountain range that separates the Vegas area from the open desert. It’s what we loved about that town. Close to a big city but not connected to one. On that side, it actually looks dark and quiet and it’s great. Now that Henderson is completely built out, they land grabbed what they could on the other side of the mountain and you know it ain’t gonna stop there. 🙁

That’s definitely a bummer, Nevada is for sure booming anywhere around civilization, which sure, it can have its advantages but not when your wanting less of it around you.
If there is an up side, it’s that our property value will probably go up. Of course, we’d prefer that it didn’t go up or at least, for those reasons.

It’s kinda funny you say that, I was just thinking the other day, I would much rather lose the fluff value in my current home to make it actually affordable to but the home that I want to move to lol.
