The Pumpkin "Build"

No building today, neither Pumpkin nor Casa. Just spent the day busting some clays at Wilson's Farm.....

I think I like it without the heavy bumper and swing away tire carrier

Anyone run the GenRight bumper plate? Thinking I may go that way instead.....

Mo better. The Genright plate is nice, but also look into Rokmen and Barnes. I also hate to say this, but Rustys makes a decent crossmember plate bumper

Haven't been on in a while, busy with the new house, work and everything but my jeep so it seems.... I have not needed a spare tire so I will most likely run without one. I might just throw it in the back when wheeling if I think I need it. Easier to keep,a patch kit and the powertank. That's the plan for now, I like the lighter weight and shorter wheelbase without the spare..... We will see how it works out

Partial update.

Installed the rear cross member cover and two LED back up lights. I think I'm going to add several additional grade8 bolts to make sure the recovery points are solid.

Those back up lights are bright!

Cuz, they are wicked bright. I will post a night time picture- they are little but put out a lot of light

I installed the frame time-in brackets. Plan is to drill through the frame and use Grade8 hardware to secure them to the frame. Then I am going to add a total of four more bolts from the face through the rear cross member. I think this will make sure I don't rip the thing off trying a recovery at the mall or something...... Opinions?

Got new stuff coming from Amazon.............. until then it's topless weather here, well it was 40 or so, so close enough for me.

Been a while since I checked on your build, looking great. Hope to actually be able to wheel with you sometime soon.
