The picture I never wanted to take

I've heard that as well. A friend of mine had a '12 with a tick, took it in. About 2 weeks later he got it back after they replaced the driver side lifters, which did not fix it. Then they proceeded to replace the driver side head, which fixed it. He then sold it less then a month later.

LOUD CURSE WORDS! Skirmish is finally on the rack getting her new engine but won't be finished till after Christmas. That will be EIGHT WEEKS since it blew up. I hardly recognize her it's been so long. So it has been at the dealer for almost a third of the time I've owned it.

Finally! She's finished. As soon as the paperwork is done I'll be rolling with a brand new engine. Now I have to beg Chrysler to cover the $350 bill I got for the tax on the rental. Exactly 8 weeks since she blew.

Glad you got it back! Sorry they are trying to stick you with the tax bill. Hopefully they make it right!

Great looking Jeep Skirmish, Glad you got it back. Hopefully that will be the last time it's at the dealer, other than routine maintenance...

Thanks guys. It was weird driving her again. Feel like I've gotten my manhood back from the minivan castration.

Took a happier picture than the last.

They didn't even question it. The mods have nothing to do with the engine. If it was an axle that broke I'm sure it would have been a different story.

Great to hear that you got your baby back. I just picked mine up today. Had to wait until the dealer could find the options and color I wanted.

I did the same. They got mine from Fresno so it was only a week to get it. It's a long week though. Congrats!

Glad your back on the road mate!. Bet your sleeping better now. Been meaning to tell you, awesome colour choice.:clap2:

I'm a step ahead of you. I've had new adjustable ca's, new springs and a few other goodies waiting for this day. Got the rear taken care of tonight.

Well, that didn't take long! :cheesy:

Can't wait to see the transformation!

This is why I will only own a trail jeep with the I6, mine has 213000 miles and no noise, no oil usage
