I finished up around 10 o'clock, not too bad. My hands are feeling it though.

Dropped the Slabs off at my buddy's shop today, and while I was there I took a tire and did a little comparison shot. Wow what a big difference it's going to be.

Nice. Safe to guess your buddy is mounting the tires on the slabs?

Well, today was another productive day. I trimmed up the pinch seams, painted the inner fender wells, removed the stock tire carrier, and fabbed up a plate to cover the hole where the carrier was. I also re-bed lined the grill, and removed the CB cable from the rear.
Next, first thing tomorrow morning I'm ready to go mount up the tires to the slabs.
This doesn't count any of my 'honeydo's' either! I'm feeling it now that I've stopped moving, it's time for a beer! Cheers

That's gonna be so sweet. I have the Evo skid system, 44 Magnums, and C gussets on order right now. Mel makes awesome parts.

Here's a few photos of the work yesterday. I had to wait for the paint to dry all the way before I mounted up the plate.

Now I'm here at the shop and its time to mount those tires up.

Just finished up the slab and tire mount. Two buddies and myself busted it out pretty quickly. I love the way they look. It goes under the knife tomorrow. Hopefully my excitement simmers down so that I can sleep tonight.

The parts are in the back of the jeep. Ready to be dropped off in the morning.
