Got the new slave cylinder in and took it out to do a heat cycle on the gears. Everything is working great. Only thing I noticed is it still has a slight tick in the clutch.

Got a couple things done on the Jeep today. Rear driveline serviced. transfer case Rear output shaft seal changed. Both diffs gear oil changed. Rear pinch seams adjusted and wheel spacers installed.

I’m really digging the way the Jeep is turning out on this stage of the build. Can’t wait to actually test out the new suspension!!


tomorrow I’m going to add a little more preload in the rear and start putting all my gear back in.
My power steering fluid was supposed to show up today, but hasn’t. When it does I’ll put the PSC box in.

The list is getting shorter… just over a week left. Might try to fit a shake down run in also.

Added a 1/4 of preload so it keeps about the same hight when all the tools go back in.

Got the old box out. Will put the new one in tomorrow after work.
Also had to child proof the steering wheel!

Man! What a pain that heavy bastard was. We’ll just getting it into place was a pain. The rest was easy. But it’s done!

Took it out for a little drive. Feels pretty good. Only thing I noticed is a small stiff point right when I start to turn right. I either have a air bubble, or it’s just because it’s new. We’ll see how it goes.

Should be smooth and easy. Watch the fluid level.. Go a little below MAX.. Too much and it may overflow when hot.

Did you flush with Swepco 729 and put in 715?
