The Back Country Build

Back Country

New member
In November of 2014, ERAUGrad04 (Morgan) took me on a trip to Death Valley and got me hooked instantly. During our drive home, I was trying to figuring out a way to lift my wife's Sequoia (Yeah I know) or my 4 Door Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 "The Green Bean". Time passed and I realized neither vehicle would perform like a Jeep and I did not want to waste money on something that could not do what I wanted to do with it. In June my wife started looking at Audi's and there it was, my opportunity to buy a Jeep, sitting on the lot. I left work early, test drove it and had it home that night. I have been reading and watching other jeep builds and decided to give it a try. So here we go.

It is a 2012 Metallic Silver Rubicon with 41k miles. It came with the following:

AEV 3.5" Daul Sport Lift
35" BFG KM2s mounted on black AEV Pintlers
VDP stubby Bumper End Caps

You can see the "Green Bean" just behind the Jeep

What I've already added/ordered:

EVO Protek Skid System
EVO Skins
EVO C-Gussets (not welded on yet)
LOD Sliders
Cobra 75 WX ST CB with 4 ft Firestik, Terra Flex mount, 18ft FireFlex Coax
Dirty Dog Front and Middle Shade (Ordered)
and Silver " Way A Life" Decal Banner

Over the next 6-12 months, I hope to add the following in somewhat of this order:

EVO Rock Star Skids
Dirty Dog Back Shade
LOD Front and Rear Bumpers
Warn Winch ( undecided on which one)
SPOD
ARB On-Board Air System
5.13 Re-gear
37" Nitto Trail Grapplers
ATX Beadlocks
EVO F/R Coilovers
Rock Hard Sport Cage

Thanks for Looking!

Nice looking jeep. Those are my favorite wheels! And really, who needs OBA?!?

Congrats on the jeep and the build. I'm excited to see it happen.

Looks good Russell :thumb:

...but I may be partial to silver ;)

Keep me in mind when you're ready to pull the trigger on that LoD package we talked about. :D

Thanks Scott, they are my favorite wheels too, if you don't plan on using them!
