This brewery is located on the former Vint Hill Station which was once the location of a listening post used by the Army Security Agency (ASA) which would eventually become the NSA.

The location has ‘Quiet Electromagnetic Geology’, in other words the location and unique metal deposits allowed radio signals to be picked up from thousands of miles away. Today it is a commercial property and also the location of the Cold War Museum founded by Francis Gary Powers Jr the son of the U-2 pilot who was shot down over the Soviet Union on 01 May 1960.

If you are ever in the area stop by Old Bust Head Brewery for a beer and visit the Cold War Museum.
