SPOTTED: Any 4X4 other than a Jeep JK/JL Wrangler

Spotted this beautiful "Himalaya" Land Rover Defender at a restaurant tonight. If you don't know these, they are one-off custom builds costing nearly $200k. First time I've ever seen one.

That is a great looking truck and I'm not even crazy about the color combo. A modernized D90 or 110 would be an awesome project. They are great lil mules that can get it done on the trails. I was fortunate enough to cut my teeth off-roading in these with some of the Camel Trophy drivers when I worked with Land Rover back in the late 90's early 2000's. They had a pretty cool proving ground in Lanham MD at their "Land Rover University" facility.

Classic. I've alway loved these old broncos. This one is cute. Spotted it in corvallis today.

I've seen hundreds of swap/mud trucks and buggies. (standard in SW Florida)

I have never seen a wheel-rim set up like that !! :thinking:

Those look like Ag tractor tires.... But the wheels are pretty weak looking. The open spokes don't look like they would hold up to the full throttle most mud trucks hit a hole with....
