Doh! Now what do you do? How do you recover that?

To cut a long story short they dragged it out of the river with a couple of vehicles, tipped it back on its wheels, got some brakes working and towed it home. It was completely stuffed. Everything got fine sand and gravel through it.

This guy was running some massive tires! BTW his passenger tailight is out because it's a blinker as well.

IDK what this is and it's not a 4x4, more like a 6x6!

The 6x6 is a CAT Haul truck. Basically it's an off road dump truck. Not sure what model it is but the tires are about 6 foot tall and carry a load of about 25 ton.

It drives pretty good, thanks for asking. It's a little strange driving it for the first time in about a year and it having an auto in it is taking some getting used to. It feels as though it lost some power but, I think it's the difference between a manual and auto. The 700r4 trannies TV cable needs some adjusting. The hydro brakes could not be better and the steering feels light, even with 38" tires due to the PSC assist. The front 4 link is a great addition but, the rear original leaves can't keep up. I guess I'll have to 4 link it next year. I need to install skids, rocker protection and lockers within the next couple of weeks so I can actually use it this summer. I only got it back almost two weeks ago but, I hurt my back and haven't been able to get into it for the last week ! What timing ! I still really have a bunch of work to do as this is not like a JK where you buy it, do some work to it , and drive it. It is 53 years old so, there is a little rust to fix, wiring, roll cage, fix the speedometer and gas gauge, and some little things. I guess it will be a lifetime project but, it is fun !:)

Sorry for terrible pics as I was driving at the time. I saw this on the way home and nearly left the road while gawking at it. I didn't even know people built these. It had a stinger too.

Fluid motor union built that one, it's a beast and has a custom roof mounted all alum snorkel and a badass sounding exhaust.
