The part next to the drum. I'm not familiar with the closed knuckle. I thought that maybe something else was going on in there. First time I've seen that.

No worries. They are much more common on Japanese stuff. I'd actually never seen an open knuckle diff until I bought my WJ

We were delivering some new cars to a dealer up in Michigan and the owner has a little car collection. He is a Mopar fan with lots of old hemi classics. We found this little beauty amongst them. Pretty nice Willy's Jeepster.

Went to a local cruise tonight and seen this. It was fn sweet. Had a 12 valve Cummins in it. Tried finding the owner to find out more about it but the guy left before I found him.
