Same here, but not sure the gen1.5 update is enough. Might need to wait a bit longer. For a true upgrade. Maybe version 2.

Thanks bro. The great thing about a custom watch is there is no compromise. You get exactly what you want. They will be building me a custom beach watch here pretty soon. Like Jeeps, it's an addiction. I think I'm at the point I should probably attend meetings or something lol!

Interesting thread.....lots of great watches. When we got married my wife bought me a nice looking watch for special occasions ....but my go to for the past 25 yrs has been the Timex Ironman. I have gone through 3 or 4 of them. Only change out due to dead battery and worn out lettering on the buttons.

Those are nice. I've been looking into the Suunto Traverse Alpha and Garmin Tactix Bravo to rotate in with my mission watches. I've owned Suuntos before and currently have one in rotation, but it's finally looking pretty crappy after many years of hard use. Still works great though!

I like them because they are not flashy, especially the Core, but have lots of features and functions.
