SHOW us the SNOW!!

If I was back up north where I grew up this would hardly be anything but it's the most snow I've seen in Southern California in quite some time. There was at least a foot more before I took these pictures too. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1452522978.808467.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1452523003.353248.jpg

We got a little snow here in Manitoba just in time for Christmas at the cabin 1.5 hours N/E of Winnipeg

On the way to the bald mountain tail head a couple weeks back.

a little bit of "fire" and ice..

No, it's not photoshop... it's a long exposure light painting technique.... or a badly failed attempt at siphoning out of my fuel tank!

X2 that's an awesome photo how do you do that

That particular one was a 60 second exposure, a narrowed down aperture (for the star-burst effect of my lights)... before I started the camera, I put a red glow stick on the center console. Then start the camera exposure and just waved some electroluminescent wire around.

I'm writing a "how-to" on my blog and should have it up in a day or two - going to do some other 'effects' tonight for some "interesting" examples too.

After the funeral today we are going for a drive fun fun

Been a pretty boring year for us so far. Normally we have had at least 1 or 2 big dumps by now. Here are a few...most from yesterday with the local Jeep club. Just enough snow and ice to make things interesting
