On your appendix setup, do you have the little wedge shaped piece that pushes the grip out from your body a little? Or do you prefer it flush?

No.. Not a fan. I’ve tried the soft wedge and a Tenicor Velo holster and both were uncomfortable to me. Its just more shit to rub against you. Plus when you sit, it pushes the gun into your stomach that much more. I focus on ride height, cant, and the claw.. I do run soft side velcro on all my holsters though.. makes it a little more comfortable. Less is more for me.

This reflects my exact experience.

I use sand paper and knocked off any sharp edges on the kydex. Some guys I work with use moleskin, it can make it more comfortable, but after 12+ hours nothing is comfortable. 😂

The wedge is usually meant to push the grip of the pistol closer in to your body in order to reduce printing. Personally I just wear a looser fitting shirt.
