Thanks for the extra pics, kinda makes me miss a small 2 door to bomb around in.

They really are a lot of fun to bomb around in. Fortunately, we have a handful of them to do that in now. :yup:

Damn that's a clean YJ,congrats!

Thank you :)

New to Jeep’s and the forums.. glad to be here.. that is such a cool Jeep. Love that color! Great purchase.

Thanks! Hope to see you around sometime :)

Nice addition to your collection. [emoji106]

Thank you. We were lucky to find and buy it :)

That’s a beautiful YJ! I had a very similar one in the 90’s and had an absolute blast in it. Looking forward to seeing your adventures with it!!

Very nice YJ. Super clean. Good score!
Well, now that the cat's out of the bag, I thought it would be fun to post up some Day 1 pics of our new to us, 1993 Jeep YJ Wrangler in a Navajo Turquoise Metallic. As you can see, it came complete with a soft top, half doors, a 2" lift, 31x10.50 BFG AT's mounted on chrome wheels and maybe most importantly, a fuel injected 4.0L High Output engine. Anyway, here she is!

Can't believe the super thin factory gas tank skidplate is completely smooth - NO dents what so ever.

And finally, a look under the hood.

Nice!

Very nice, original YJ, Eddie. There are few of those left around. I purchased mine, here in Indiana, but, it had a California title. That is the only reason it is rust free, all over.
I once discussed trading it back to the guy who sold it to me, for a TJ. He deals in a few used Jeeps. He said he didn't want it because nobody wanted them anymore. At the time, it struck me as odd, but, now I'm glad he wouldn't trade. I love it, and it has carried my wife and I on many adventures.
I think, you may have to build on to your already large garage...
Thanks for sharing the pics. Very cool, unusual, color, also.

Very nice YJ. Super clean. Good score!

Thank you :)

All I know is that they are in the shade of blue and both jeeps look stunning. :brows:

Thanks! It's funny because when looking to buy an older Jeep, color isn't ever a criteria for us. Hell, if anything, I think we would have wanted something in red being that it's been a while since we've had red. That being said, we do love these 2 different blues and love that they're factory colors. :yup:

Great looking YJ. The collection is growing! There are only a few left to have them all! Enjoy

Thanks! There's probably more than a "few" more that we'd love to have

Most Jeeps west of the Rockies are clean or pretty clean. This one was truly an exception and we are glad to have found it. :yup:

Congrats on the new Jeep! That is one of the cleanest YJs I’ve seen in a while. [emoji106]

Thank you :)

Looks good and really clean. Thanks for sharing. I too thought it was closer to the same color as Jane.Imagine try putting a carseat in a two door...haha.

It's funny but if you see them in person, you can really see the difference. As far as car seats go, try doing it in a bench seat old school Toyota pickup with a stick. That's what Cindy and I had to do back in the day. It was either that or have me ride in the back of her old CRX :cheesy:

Lol very true.. if I ever get a 2 door again, it'll be no back seat and maybe even no passenger seat lol

LOL

Congrats!

It’s hard not to go down memory lane seeing this. I got my first Jeep in July 2000 and it was this exact Jeep except an auto and only 30” tires. But it had the 4.0, half doors, soft top, chrome wheels, 2” lift, nerf bars, and that blue which I couldn’t figure out what is was called back then.

It’s amazing you found one so clean. Mine had rust already and it was 7 years old then...

Broke down today and decided to stand in line at the DMV. Got there an hour early and there were only 30 people in front of me, a LOT less than on Monday right after opening again after 3 months of being closed thanks to China virus.

IMG_2737.JPG

Fortunately, our DMV was turning away people from Reno and was only accepting people from Carson City. And, while they were only letting in 4 people at a time, they were sending out staff to do what they can with the people standing in line. Anyway, long story short, our new to us YJ is now officially ours!

Thank you. Wasn’t as bad as it could have been but more than I would have preferred. Well worth it though.
