"Rocko" Build-It may be slow, it may be cheap, but it's Perfect!

Took the front bumper plastic molding off and put metal back on only. I painted it semi gloss enamel black and affixed my license plate with two small drilled holes.

It was free and I love the looks of it! I plan to weld tabs to add 2x4" LED flood lights where the stock fog lamps were. I'm also going to cut each side of the metal bumper in counter with the grille to make it narrower.

I can't even tell you how much I hated the stock plastic bumper. Darn thing is going on CL!

Before/Old tires:

1.5" Wheel Spacers

35s installed!

Other side! (I had to touch up the plastidip from the install...just retouched over old for now)

Also thought I would mention. I have the 3.6L and (eek!) 3.21 gears. I really am not all that heavy on the small pedal and for me, the differnece in power/torque etc. has been less than trivial. I also admit, the "new to me" tires I put on are worn 35's so i am not getting the true 35" perspective.
But...
:D I am happy!

Hey man saw you say blue rtv. Spacers you need to use red lock tite man tires can be really bad if they come off;) nice build though mines a budget one too.

Thanks Pyro. I had read that Blue RTV was a good option for the spacers. In reality, in looking at the directions and talking with the vendor of the spaces, Loctite wasn't even recommended. I just did it out of precaution and made sure I torqued in a star pattern to 95ft.lbs.

Hmm my spydertrax explicitly said red locktite lol. I guess as long as you check them on rotations it should be great.

Added a new feature and lost about 100hp doing it! But it's worth it!

Thanks old job for the Vacation payout!
