Reuse light bar wire?

Hey y'all, my Jeep came with a cheapo light bar on the front and it's getting all oxidized. I scored some decent pods over Black Friday and want to replace the bar with them. But the wiring for the bar is routed very nicely through the bumper and into the cab. I am hoping to just snip that wire and connect the new pods into it. The new pods don't have any balasts or anything external. Is splicing into the existing wire usually doable? Thanks.

Should be fine. Just heat shrink to protect from moisture.
