As we got close to Memphis this smoke plume appeared. First thought, Memphis is on fire.
Turned out to just be burning off the cotton fields.
. The roads through Memphis are strangely empty. Usually this area is total chaos of cars doing 20 over or under the speed limit and careening across 4 lanes of traffic.

Must have left or are hiding. All the side streets are empty, no one hanging out at the markets. National Guard isn’t even here.

Visiting the In-Laws in TN and we have some down time before we go to a political event so we stopped at a local Watering Hole to drink.
Mine on the left:
‘Gotta get up to get down’ which is a delicious coffee milk stout.
@Traciehue ‘s on the right. The ‘Love Bird’ which is a strawberry and raspberry wheat.
No IPA’s so I’ll go back to my roots and drink a stout. I think I’ll try the Whiskey Barrel Ale next.
