Was thinking the same thing.
I think he went searching for my house and fell into the trap that I prepared.

Very sorry to hear about your friend, that sucks. Also I’m happy about your Woodford. When we originally planned this trip it was structured on doing some site-seeing along I-80 and arriving in Salt Lake City to participate in an event.
Unfortunately an old friend who lives in Payson recently informed me that he is not long for this world. That news changed our travel plans and we departed early and took I-40 across so we could visit him. We spent a couple days there and being so close to Scottsdale, we swung down to see family.
Usually I avoid the location of birth- especially in the summer. The Phoenix metro area is WAY too hot and has changed in ways I don’t enjoy.
We took my 83-yo mom to the Scottsdale Costco for supplies and picked up a couple of things for ourselves.
Full disclosure- my Mom claimed the Tequila and the Angel’s Envy.

I guess Costco stocks according to the demographics of the area. My Costco has Jim Beam and Makers Mark as the bourbon choices.Sorry to hear about your buddy, glad you got to visit.
I've seen that Woodford at our local Costco, haven't tried it.
Yep, I learned that directly from the costco alcohol buyer at my Costco. It is why we have shit for whiskey most of the time.I guess Costco stocks according to the demographics of the area. My Costco has Jim Beam and Makers Mark as the bourbon choices.
However, they have about forty different tequilas and a metric shit ton of Mexican beers to choose from.

They also had $1800 bottles of scotch and bourbon. When you see Rolls Royces and Lambos in the parking lot, it’s an indicator.Yep, I learned that directly from the costco alcohol buyer at my Costco. It is why we have shit for whiskey most of the time.

So then if the parking lot is full of dark green Silverados, dark green Suburbans, and a rainbow selection of Chargers just keep on truckin’?They also had $1800 bottles of scotch and bourbon. When you see Rolls Royces and Lambos in the parking lot, it’s an indicator.
lol. We’ll be heading to Tempe in a few weeks. After just getting back from two weeks in Maui, not sure there’s more opposite destinations. Ha ha
