I went thru a similar series of events in my wifes '17 Rubi ... 5 thermostats, water pump, hoses, reservoir and radiator later shes at the dealer getting a new long block... :-( It was fun on short errands or even long trips as long as there was proper time to cool down, but if my wife was running around multiple errands, and it got heat soaked, then it'd start running warm... and it was pushing coolant out of the radiator into the overflow...but not returning... head gaskets on both banks went ... 112k miles
