OLM mirror lense replacements

So the mirrors in the JLU have poor field of view. I was looking at adding the convex round mirrors to see better. But I remembered this brand that I installed on the WRX.

They replace the stock glass and keep the electronics.

Has anyone tried these in their jeep? They work well in the WRX, but take a few days to get used to, as the give you a brief moment of double vision when you look at them. It goes away after your brain is "trained". But after not driving the WRX a few weeks, the double vision happened on the 1st glance today, which reminded me of this vendor.

Maybe it's just me but I find that the factory mirrors work well. Certainly, I've never felt a need to change them out other then them getting smashed by a rock.

No experience with those but compared to most vehicles I’ve owned and driven the Jeeps seem as good as or better than most.

I've thought about trying those; I agree the FOV sucks for me, I don't know if it because I slide my seat slightly further back than OEM (added slide brackets for more knee space) or because I like to sit taller, but I feel I'm adjusting the mirror often to get a better view (looking over the shoulder is B pillar useless and can't count how many times I've smashed my nose into the mirror trying to see who's in the driver blind spot without adjusting the mirror (always now).

I've stuck the small mirrors on but they don't last long in heat and humidity.

My issue with these is the price.

because of the position and further back I sit, or maybe it's my mirrors... they reach the adjustment limit pretty fast.

In my daughter's 2015 JKU, I swear those mirrors have a lot more adjustment in both directions and I'm tempted to see it they will swap LOL

Also, I'm forced to sit at limit of the slide back and leave the height alone because her "you adjusted" wrath scares me

I'll add, in the JT no seat mods, the mirrors are fine.

It's a lot more limited compared the my daily with the convex mirrors, and the old Xterra.

I found myself constantly adjusting the mirrors off-road in the last trip. Rock fields and navigating close trees that were scared with many body panels hits.

If you can see the sides of your Jeep in your mirrors, you have them adjust wrong and have blind spots. No issues with my mirrors once they are adjusted right. I can watch someone go from behind me, to next to me in my mirror, to next to me out the window without any interruptions or them getting "lost" in my field of vision.

So I picked these up, and they improve visibility a lot both on & offroad. I didn't have to adjust them between highway and offroad.

The plugs for the BSM must have changed since OLM started making them. No big deal, just cut off the plugs and spliced them.
