I have owned my Tj for many years and grew tired of the 4.0L so with the blessing from the wife I just completed a 5.3 L33 swap.
Here is the old on the hook.

Chop chop, to the stock harness.

In with the new all aluminum Vortec 5.3.

I used Sanderson block hugger headers to clear the Tj frame.

Total build time was right at 60 hours. I think it looks good, but driving it is such a Blast!
