My billet rubi build

Looks great! How did the install go? Was it fairly easy to install and align so that it opens and closes smoothly?

Install wasn't too bad but adjustment is a whole different story. It works pretty smooth right now but I'm still waiting for the plate to mount the wheel. Once i get the wheel mounted i may have to do more adjustments.

The missing part for the carrier arrived. Once the wheel and tire were mounted i had to adjust the carrier more but it seems pretty close now.

Also modified my front turn signals to use kc cyclones inside the factory housing instead of regular bulbs.

I used the red cyclones for the Evo third brake light on the tire carrier. I removed the previous one i installed because it wasn't long enough.

I've been kind of slacking on keeping this up to date. I got my high lift jack mounted.

Why the ADS springs over the King?

They are PAC racing springs but ADS just happens to use them. No real reason in particular other than a friend got a good price on them. From what I hear they have more consistency in spring rate and length than King. Don't quote me on that but it's just what I've heard. After feeling how they ride on and off road i wouldn't hesitate to use them again though.

Awesome pics from Sedona! Hopefully I can make it out on the trail with y'all. Makes it tough being down in Tucson.

I like that they are silver, looks a little cleaner

Yeah that would be cool. Pm me your number or facebook and I'll try to let you know in advance when the next trail is.

Yeah it's definitely a different look. I liked the blue but this has grown on me as well.

Just read your build. It is bad ass!! I could only hope mine will be that nice one day. Great job and thanks for the info!

My KC headlights started acting up again on my way to work earlier this week. I finally said that was enough and ordered the JW Speaker Evolution J. They were delivered today.
