There are a few of us here. As you know the Comanche is kinda rare and because they're so good most have been really used over the years. Your new '86 is in pretty fair shape for having been around for 30 yrs. It'll be interesting to watch it evolve. Good luck with your new baby. I also like the Gladiator next to it. Very nice.
My Comanche is a '92 with 236K miles on it and it just passed Colorado emissions. Easily! Whew! I've left the suspension mostly stock except for Skyjacker shocks. The rear end is an 8.8" Ford with 4.10 gears. The Ford is 5/8in narrower than stock so I put 1 1/2 wheel spacers on the rear and 1 1/4 on the front to clear the 31x10.5x15 Pirelli Scorpion A/T's. I'm looking at Rancho in the future to lift it about 3". I also have a '12 JKUR but almost always drive The White Rabid even on longer road trips.
