Led aux light question

As part of a haul I got from FB marketplace, I got a pair of Rigid led cube lights, they have the connectors to replace the Fog lights in an OEM JL/JT bumper. Since I'm getting and oem steel bumper tha comes with LED fog lights, I don't want to replace those but want to put this on the bumper as aux lights with one of the aux switches in the cab, do I just need to cut that plug, splice the ends to longer wires and run them up to the aux cable on the engine bay?

Yes cut the plug off and lengthen the wires. The aux switch wires are down next to the battery

Cut the plugs off and wire to the AUX switch wire or try to get the plugs (or harness) from a factory fog light bumper. If you have the plugs or harness it makes repairs or replacement easier.

I peeled the harnesses off of my factory bumper and used it to wire my KC fog lights on my EVO bumper.

If you need the bumper plugs/harness for the fog lights, I still have mine sitting around. It's for a Sport. You can have them.

So I ordered the Baja design wire harness

On the light side it has the light plugs

I just cut where the green circle is and splice them together with positive to aux wire and neg to chassis right?

Yup, looks right to me. IIRC there is a good ground lug on the fender near where the AUX wires are.
