Inflation? What Inflation - LOL

Gold has hit consecutive highs multiple times in recent weeks. Highest ever in US history today. Inflation has gone nuts.
If there is another run on toilet paper, then you can go to the bank and ask to withdraw cash in $1 bills so you have something to wipe your ass with. šŸ¤£

Went to buy some food for Ripley and at first, I couldn't find what I normally buy. But, after giving things a closer look, I realized that the package changed and so I picked up a bag and started walking up to the cash register. But, as I walked, I started to think that the bag felt lighter than before and Cindy even asked if I got the right bag because, it physically looked smaller. So, I went back, double checked the shelf and confirmed that I got the one I normally get - the middle one of 3 available sizes.

Well, after I got home, I looked at what we got before and realized what the discrepancy was - previously, the bags were for 15 lbs of food and now, it only for 13 lbs. Same price as before mind you, just 2 lbs. less food

Hooray for bidenomics (y)

I'm finding the same issue with the dog food I buy my dog.

when I got my dog 3 years ago, I took a pic of the dog food to remember which type, it was a 35# bag.

I noticed it dropped to a 32# bag last year and the last time I bought a bag it was noticeable that it didn't fill the storage container like in the past ... it's now a 28# bag but the size of bag seems the same and price hasn't changed

Itā€™s dam near the same price now days to go to a sit down restaurant than fast food.
Cheaper. I know that restaurants like Chili's has been advertising their 3 for Me deal and you get WAY MORE food than you would at McDonald's

Cindy and I were on the road the other day and got 1 medium 2 cheese burgers meal to split and it cost just over $10

Oh, and I have received several emails over the last couple days regarding parts companies increasing pricesā€¦again.
What's crazy is that they're raising prices because they have to but I also know a lot of them are way down in sales this year.

Chilis and Applebees do have some good deals, especially at happy hour.

Iā€™m not surprised on the low sales, nobody wants to spend money or can afford it right now. And I have to assume material to make parts keeps increasing as well. Just crazy to see how much parts cost now compared to say 5-7 years ago. Beadlocks are a good example.

It really is nuts how much parts cost now. What sucks is that in order to still be profitable, prices have to go up but that's only making it harder to sell their parts because nobody can afford it. But hey, so long as we can pay to forgive dumbass student loans, we're all good (y)

Everything is ass backwards for sure. A change is a must for this country in November. I really canā€™t see how we can continue on like this much longer.
