I hope I can get some assistance

Hi, my name is Edgar and I have own Jeeps since 1999. I joined this forum because I love to fix my jeep instead of paying someone else to have fun doing it. I have a sport Wrangler 2006, black. It is a two door, 4.0 litters and 6 cyl. in line with manual transmission.

About two years ago I suffered through the "death wobble" which left the front-end defective. I have been fixing it but the last thing to come apparent was my front differential grinding and very noisy. I have no idea how to find out what type of differential I have and all relevant information. There is a little sticker on top of the differential case but it is damaged and not legible at all. Can anyone guide me to get the information I need to buy a new one?

Thanks!

Edgar

Welcome to WAYALIFE!! Second, you'll have a Dana 30 front axle and are you sure what you're hearing is coming from the differential?
