Hello from peoples democratic republic of NYC

Although I am only 42 but I do carry an old school mentality with all my vehicles.
first oil change around 2k miles and every 3k miles after that. And do all my maintenance dinner that what is recommended by the mfg. although all my previous vehicles called for 87 regular fuel and ran fine this one calls for 87 and it pings or engine knocks at low speeds. I tried 93 and that noise is absolutely gone. So I’ll be feeding this vehicle with 93.

Welcome from Arizona 👋

Sometimes you can get away with 89 in the V-6's & V-8's that ping & knock on 87. But in the 2.0 Turbos & high powered Hemi's premium is a must. My standard 5.7 Hemi in my Ram needs at least 89 or higher (hates 87). I'm old school on maintenance also, don't care for some of the extended services. The better you take care of them, the longer they last 😊

Welcome! You will have issues if you dwell on it. As Overlander said, every manufacturer has issues … look for it and you’ll find something.
