Since you're in the UK, I'd go with a diesel JL for sure. I personally have a JK and a TJ, and chose a JK over a JL in a 2 door only because of the price difference and given that only a Sport S trim was in my budget at the time. I love my JK and have no plans to replace it but if I had the opportunity again I'd go JL for that new auto for sure.
