Hard Top Hoist

It's that time of the year for those of us who aren't blessed to live in warm weather year round. I've been collecting parts and coming up with a design for a hoist in my garage. Buying one takes all the fun out of this project

With that said, I'm curious to what people on here have come up with! Let's see the hoists...

I've seen better DIY hoists, but I built mine on the cheap and is working well. The pics aren't the greatest. I used 4 cam-lock straps, 4 brackets with hoops screwed into the ceiling joists, and pipe insulation. I considered using two longer straps, but having four lets me raise and lower one corner at a time which helps keep the top even as it is raised. Total cost about $30.
