Gray Fender Flares?

Surface Cleaner..lol.
Its automotive surface cleaner. I guess some people call it surface prep. Its kind of expensive though. Let me look around to see if I can find you a cheaper alternative. Wont take me long.

Oh. I've always just wiped everything down with paint thinner before I painted it. That's why I asked but of course I've never painted plastic trim either. I'm sure ill be able to find some at one of the parts stores around here though.

Im not sure what paint thinner would do to the plastic though, it might even melt it!

The stuff my I used is $70 a gallon. That pic is basicaly the same stuff. I was kinda thinking you could use acetone too, but that might leave an oily residue or damage the plastic as well.

Just use rubbing alcohol and wipe it down. It'll work fine.

Meh, it would probably work. I would still scrub the plastics though. There is a lot of crap that can be scrubbed off. I just use automotive stuff cause I have access to it. I would imagine alcohol could serve the same purpose. I prefer automotive cleaner though.. $.02
