This is what the south of the Indian River USED to fish like before all the grass died. Nothing but fly fishing for us. Now not so much. Still some fish, though, if you work at it.
A little early xmass present to myself…10’9” 4wt esn rod and a full frame Lamson spooled with 30# OPST Lazar line. I have both a 175 grain skagit head for single hand spey and an SA euro shorty with 2x sighter for euro style nymphing. As soon as I got it, I went out on the dock to see how the skagit head cast…beautifully. I’m sure my wife was looking out the window asking who the idiot was on our dock casting in the cold rain…
