This train rolled by while I was fishing…I had hooked up to a trout and just released it when the claw operator beeped his horn and waved. He was depositing large railroad ties along the track in intervals

A little early xmass present to myself…10’9” 4wt esn rod and a full frame Lamson spooled with 30# OPST Lazar line. I have both a 175 grain skagit head for single hand spey and an SA euro shorty with 2x sighter for euro style nymphing. As soon as I got it, I went out on the dock to see how the skagit head cast…beautifully. I’m sure my wife was looking out the window asking who the idiot was on our dock casting in the cold rain…

You don’t let Marlin get away…they do it on their own. Small stripeys like these were the only Marlin we put in the box…they are excellent sashimi 100lbs and underYesterday I went out fishing from Cabo San Lucas with four guys I had not met before waiting to get on the boat. I was the only one not to boat a fish.
This is Kip from England with his first fish. This was his first time ever fishing. View attachment 400304
