Fall Colors Trip in Colorado

Out for Blues and Brews

Some photos from our last trip to Telluride (September 13-18). Some highlights: drove over Imogene from Telluride then to the top of Yankee Boy to the Sneffels trail head. Summitted Mt. Sneffels. Returned through Ouray, and over Black Bear. Then grabbed a drinks and headed to the hotsprings and drank to the light of the harvest moon, all in the same day. Hiked Mount Handies, another 14er and rode the Alpine loop from Ouray to get to the trail head. Poughkeepsie gulch, hurricane pass, cinnamon pass, Animas forks, Engineer Pass. Traversed the Via Ferrata over Telluride (second pic). Attended the Brews fest and saw Gary Clark Jr. It was an exhausting vacation.

Did a run out to see the changing fall colors of Colorado while I'm up here... Wasn't any four wheeling, just had to avoid the other 10,000 drivers who wanted to do the same thing.
This is Kebler Pass road in SW Colorado.

Funny, I ran Black Bear and Imogene over the labor day weekend and none of the trees had started changing color yet.
