Hello all, I have a friend that bought a 2019 JLU Sahara for his daughter for her 16th Birthday. He ask me for my help because I have a 2020 JLU myself and I do all the maintenance on it myself. Well I am a aircraft mechanic so I better do my own maintenance. Anyways this Jeep was in a front end wreck where it blew the airbags and the past owner cut the wires to the airbags, but also the Jeep is getting 2 codes, 1 is U1428, inaccurate engine torque received, and P0107, map sensor along with the Jeep being in Limp Mode.
He already replaced the Map Sensor but he's still getting that code.
Along with the airbag wires being cut he has some wires for the hood switch on one side that appears to be cut also.
First question would be. will the airbag wires being cut give the U1428 code and cause the Jeep to be in Limp mode?
Second question is I feel with those wires being cut who knows what else could be cut to what sensor so where can I find a good wiring diagram for this Jeep? I want to help him go through everything else.
