Crate Axle

Decided to purchase a Dana Spicer 44 with a 4:58 gear ratio crate front axle for my Jeep Wrangler a little over a week ago. They told me it would be about a 14 to 20 week expected delivery time.
Today I received a call from the freight company that they were at my house trying to deliver a shipment from Dana Spicer! I thought Oh Boy, this is Great!
Turns out when I got home and the driver was taking it out of the truck that it wasn’t the axle I had ordered. It was a Dana Spicer 60 in 5:38 gear ratio destined for Rexburg, ID! Wish I could keep it and replace my rear axle as well. Call the company I ordered it from to report the error to Dana. Needless to say Dana was happy.

Just an update but received the axle I ordered. The mixup must have somehow sped up the build time? Now waiting to get a few more items I ordered like Reid racing knuckles, wheel unit bearings and few other new front end parts.
On a side note they still haven’t picked up the UD60 axle!
