Define "homemade" bacon, did you butcher the pig? Remember doing that when I was a kid, rather watching the uncles do it. "Arnold" was several hundred pounds when he got made into bacon, rump roast and soap.....

Lol well I guess it's not that homemade. I do not have a pig to butcher. I sliced and cured pork belly for about a week and then smoked it. Cured in salt, pure maple and jalepeno. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1420409415.769850.jpg Pre smoker pic

Started with a mimosa. Degraded to a screw diver and finished it off with some whiskey.

Tried a Jamison Mule tonight. Would've been better in a mule mug. 😉 Still good and may need to add some whiskey to our home bar. 👍
