Making progress on the floor pans, learning how to shrink steel. Definitely a steap learning curve

I knew the new yoke for the front drive shaft wasn't going to fit as is but I knew I could make it work with the stock flange and a half round yoke. I took the flange to work and cut it to size, turned the outer diameter concentric with the spline diameter and bored the inner diameter .002" under size for a press fit. I'll press the new yoke into the flange and weld them together. I'll have to make a mandrel to use while pressing them together to get the splines to line up. That tooling should be here in about a week.

Got the yoke figured out. I made a nut to help press the new yoke inside the old machined yoke flange.

Welded the yoke together. Installed it on to my transfer case and put my transfer case back in after remembering I forgot a gasket. Installed the front drive shaft. Did an full extension test, the splines didn't move.

Got a pair of limit straps in for the rear axle. 20" in length. I need a pair of 18" for the front, ruff stuff was out of stock so I'll probably order a pair from summit. Been focussing on my TJ lately. An upper control arm bracket broke off my front axle, both relays in my dual air compressor went bad and I picked up a dana 70 to throw in the rear.

Got half the tabs I need for the limit straps, going to start on them soon. Picked up a new zeon 10 for my TJ and going to use my old m8000 as a place holder until I figure out what I want to do with it.

Build is coming along great

Have you secured the spacers to the frame? I'm thinking you should secure the reservoir spacers in place with a small bolt drilled through it to the frame tubes.. just incase the clamp holding the reservoir loosen during the drive, you wouldn't lose the spacers..

We had a pretty bad snow storm for this area which caused all packages to be delayed. Finally got the rest of my tabs for my limit straps and my transmission shifter

Figured out the winch situation. I sold the old m8000 and picked up a warn 8274. It'll need a rebuild nut it's complete and had the ratcheting brake.
