Cab covers

So summer is here, sort of, in Philly which means top and doors are coming off. On my JK I had a bestop cab cover to keep things dry. Looking for one again for the JLU. Anyone have any opinions on what they have and how they like it. Looking for one that allows me to fold the soft top down and not need to take the door surrounds off. (Most brands seem to make you have to take them off to install the cover)

Yeah, the only covers I've seen and used are the kinds that want you to have everything off.

I have one of those for my 4 door, and it's TIGHT with everything off... prob wouldn't even fit if stuff was on.

Companies that make custom boat covers could be a great option. They’ll measure your setup and build exactly what you want.. including attachment points.

Well ended up ordering a Mastertop cover. Figured I would give it a go. Says it will fit with the top folded down and the door surrounds still on as well as work with the doors still on. Will post pics and what I think of it when I get it

Haven’t gotten it yet. Shows it will ship by June 13th

Well cab cover finally shipped. Shows I will have it next Thursday. Will post again once I get it

Cover has been here for about a week now but weather hasn’t been the best to try it out. Just got home and threw it on just so it can stretch in the heat a bit and see how it fit.

Full doors and soft top installed and folded down currently.

The cover on the rear is a little snug. I would say they should add a little more material back there for the top.

the front strap connecting to the bottom of the fender is a little odd IMO. Would have rather it just gone to the pinch seam like the back and middle hooks.

overall it seems like a good fit. Will be better with doors off that way mirrors are not in the way as well

They are already folded in. You have to otherwise it will not fit right.
