Yeah, I've been known to do that. I had some spare tires in the guestroom for a while too. Let's just say the wife and especially the in-laws were not amusedI used a beadbuster, worked well and did it inside the house and out of the heat
May not work for you guys with a wife, but then her looks just might help break that bead lol
