AFE catback exhaust and cold air intake

Hey everyone, I had a few people ask me about my exhaust kit and some wanted videos of the sound so here's what I got. I hadn't had a lot of time to do these so they aren't the best. I have a '12 JKU with 33" Trail Grapplers. The exhaust is an AFE catback system - part #49-46218. I also have an AFE cold air intake. The second video is with the windows closed and the third is with them open, if I remember correctly  Enjoy.

Thanks for posting the sound clips, those help a lot. :thumb:

That kit gives you a nice throaty growl while also getting the exhaust tucked up and out of the way for trails. How does it feel performance wise? Does the butt dyno say you've gained or is it about the same as the stock set up?

Well, since I've installed it I've gotten the bigger tires so that has slowed it down slightly. But I'd say it has a bit more of a kick. I would like to get it actually dyno tuned because I think then I'll be able to really maximize the upgrades. Its difficult to notice gains without a tune and without headers and fully opening up the intake and exhaust systems. But there's no denying that its more efficient than stock. Plus it was pretty cheap compared to the other kits so I'd say if any is interested in this kit, its definitely worth it. Easy install as well

Just used the clamps. Really simple install. Dad and I did it in driveway

The instructions look fairly straightforward, but some folks are of the belief that clamps only hold your exhaust in place until you can get it welded up. Good to hear that your clamps are doing just fine.

I know you have be asked this before, but how is the drone with this system? And did you remove the factory silencer also? I want to put it on a 2012
