Follow up to initial install.

If you have a JL/JT hardtop (imagine JK will be the same) and you installed while the Freedom Panels were in and are going to a SunRider (just put mine back on in time for the April snow in a couple of days).

You need to remove the two long bolts through the Sport Bar, you will also want to loosen the two bolts holding the Bar to the Brackets. This way you can line up the door closure pieces that fit through the ACC Bar brackets. Install the SunRider and tighten it all down, then tighten the bolts from ACC Bar to the brackets. You should never have to touch the two small bolts again.

Yup, the brackets will work with a Sunrider just like it would with a soft top. Glad to hear you were able to make it work without too much fuss :)

I really wasn't paying much attention to alignment, have had the SunRider on and off a few times. Had one side bolted up loose and was working on the other and I couldn't get the front cup to drop in the big hole. WTF?!?! So backed up and started to move some things and lift a door closure up and AHAH smacked me in the forehead. That skinny bolt fits through the big hole with no problem, but that fat cup ain't going to fall in when the hole is 1/3 off.

So, figured I'd save someone else a little head scratching.

Just shows that your ingenuity is strong to get it set up for hard or soft (or SunRider) tops with no major changes.

Eddie,

I'm in the midst of selling my JK. I have the new ACC Bar. Do you sell the brackets so I can install it in my JL or JT?

Thanks!
