i wouldn't go that high, I'm running 3.5" lift with 37's, i do need to trim my rear stock bumper but otherwise I'm good on the trails.
if you have 5500 budget for a front axle, I'd go with dynatrac prorock, no need for truss or rcv's. IMO if I'm going to have a break, I'd rather it happen out of the axle, not in the internals.
trail 60 is semi-float

hopefully others with a full float will chime in but I believe with a full float you will need to run spacers in the front to match the wider stance and also run 8 lug wheels or 5 lug to 8 lug adapters.

Based on what you've described as your driving style the Trail 60 should suit you fine. I've had several discussions with Dynatrac and they were very helpful in helping me decide what axles to get, you should give them a call.
 
I'd enjoy keeping my current lug set. I like running the 5.5. Plus I wouldn't have to swap out rims right away to drive.

If the trail rated set will suit my needs that's perfect
